Internship description:
Sales and Marketing training in Phuket Thailand. Dreams come through!
To establish and maintain a high level of proficiency and professionalism in sales to ensure maximum results in obtaining profitable sales for accommodation, food & beverage and other hotel facilities in the company. Perform related duties and special project assigned.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : 
Responsibilities and duties for this position shall include, but not be limited to, the following areas and activities. At management discretion, direction may be given for tasks outside the scope of work described. 
The duties are : 
  • (I) To market / sell in assigned geographical and market segment territories to maximize revenue 
  (ii) Inter hotel Sales – to promote and sell all AHMS hotels Worldwide on calls, telephones, mail, contact, client entertainment and site inspection
  • To develop new accounts for the hotel through personal of sales calls and client servicing.
  • Servicing existing accounts and maintaining a regular call pattern
  • To provide feedback on competitor hotel activity
  • To promote hotels facilities and activities through hotel inspection and entertainment of clients in the hotel
  • Attend daily and related Sales meeting
  • Attend hotel functions such as requested
  • Participate in staff management, in particular in term of hours, training, leadership and discipline. In respect to rules and regulations.
The responsibilities are: 
  1. To ensure client and guest satisfaction with the services provided by the hotel
  2. Submitting weekly plan and daily sales activity including monthly measurement report to the director of Sales and Marketing
  3. Ensuring proper records are kept on clients in the form of a v1 system, and maintain commercial portfolio or account management system.
  4. To handle client reservation request in a proficient and polite manner
  5. Handle routine correspondence, responding within 24 hours
  6. Ensuring that sales promotional material to be distributed is current
  7. Maintain up to date trace file for follow up on leads
  8. Make sure AHMS standards and procedures and those resulting from hotel’s Sales and Marketing policy are correctly applied
  9. Make any suggestion likely to better adapt services to local markets expectations.
  10. Apply and ensure application of procedures and regulations concerning FO and F&B
  11. Make sure that all material and equipment made available to the Sales and Marketing department is correctly used.
  12. Working hours as per company policy.
  13. Market segment as assigned based on geographical area
  14. Keep updated and involved in rate loading process

Company is currently working on several projects with the resort itself and the chain. You will be update when arrived at the resort.
