internship F&B Administration in ****Hotel Brussels

Your internship:
1. Assisting the Food and Beverage Manager and the Food and Beverage Coordinator in the department’s daily tasks.
2. Facilitating communication within the department, within the hotel and with third parties contacting the hotel.
3. Providing administrative support to the F&B Administration department.
4. Providing efficient, prompt, courteous, trouble-free and proactive service to customers and colleagues, hence maximizing guest satisfaction.
5. Performing all tasks according to departmental guidelines, the departmental business plan and the Radisson BLU corporate guidelines and service concepts.
6. Ensuring all activities are performed in ways that are consistent with the Responsible Business principles of operation.

Responsibilities & activities
1. Assisting in the organisation of lunches and dinners for 2 to 130 guests in the hotel’s restaurants.
2. Following-up on individual and group requests by preparing and updating working documents including but not limited to contracts and functions.
3. Following-up on clients’ menu choices.
4. Ensuring Sea Grill and Atrium menus are prepared in a timely manner.
5. Coordinating and assisting in the implementation of special offers, festivals and events within the hotel’s Food and Beverage departments.
6. Ensuring billing instructions are correct and communicating any errors to the Food and Beverage Manager or the Food and Beverage Coordinator.
7. If required, assisting the F&B departments and outlets in their daily operational tasks.
8. Assisting the Food and Beverage Manager in the organisation and coordination of events taking place outside of the hotel.
9. Ensuring responsibility for Room Service VIP amenities and their set-up.
10. Assuming responsibility for and updating the Food and Beverage Operating sheets.
