Internship description:
Your tasks will be among other operational ones:
Duty Manager section :
Assist the Retreat manager in directing and supervising the activities as the Front Desk Maintains a high profile in all guests’ related areas, and ensures a high customer satisfaction at all times.

  • To maintain smooth relationships between Management and guest. Resolve problems arising front guests complaints and attend to inquires immediately.
  • To meet and escort VIPs to their rooms, welcome clients as many as possible upon check in or biding farewell all departure guest and ensure FO Supervisor on duty does so on Duty Manager behalf when not available.
  • To inspect rooms assigned for VIPs and inform Housekeeping Department of any need for repair, cleaning, etc. Ensure complimentary orders of Management are placed accordingly.
  • To authorize rate/room change, paid outs, rebates, cash advance, acceptance of cheques, on the basis of established procedures, credit policy, amount involved and identity of the guest.
  • To co-ordinate with the Security Department in the investigation of irregularities and undesirable guests.
  • Assist in showing room/ resort inspection when no sales staff available
  • Attends to all guest compliments and transmits them to department concern and sees that corrective action are taken immediately.
  • To prepare reports on accidents to guests, employee and not hotel guests, as well as report of lost and damage to persons and properties inside the premises.
  • Monitors energy saving program on the night shift.
  • Must be able to react to any kind of contingency such as fire hazard and to lead the other staff for action to be taken.
